Catherine Rosetta Bowra, aged 79, of Eumungerie, who recently had the misfortune to fall and break her leg, died in the District Hospital on Sunday. The late Mrs Bowra was a native of England, who came to New South Wales when she was 24 years of age and had lived in this State ever since, with the exception of three years spent in New Guinea. She same to Eumungerie from Sydney to live with her three sons two or three years ago. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Byers, who lives at Eumungerie. Her husband predeceased her some years ago. The funeral took place about 12 noon yesterday in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, the Rev. K. Moore officiating at the graveside. The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr. K. Lees.
